William Martin, BIU CEO & Vicepresident is personally committed to the development of several projects that do contribute to a better world. Bircham International University becomes an actual proof of how motivated professionals can achieve better outcomes for themselves and others through adult continuing education and degree programs. William Martin, BIU CEO, acts as host and moderator of several World Forums.

William Martin gave a speech at the United Nations (New York, 2006) about how not traditional education approaches may contribute to eradicate poverty. With great honor, he introduced Mrs. Ela Bhatt (India SEWA Bank) in the United Nations Conference Press where she received the Women Together Award in 2006.
Dr. William Martin has been a key advisor in the successful preparation of the I, II III International Microcredits Forum held in Madrid, Brasilia and Cartagena (Colombia). Bircham International University coordinated and prepared the contents of the first Microcredits Manual published in Spanish.
