William Martin, BIU CEO, acted as host and moderator of several World Forums and gave a speech at the United Nations (New York, 2006) about how not traditional education approaches may contribute to eradicate poverty. With great honor, he introduced Mrs. Ela Bhatt (India SEWA Bank) in the United Nations Conference Press where she received the Women Together Award in 2006. Dr. William Martin has been a key advisor in the successful preparation of the I, II and III International Microcredits Forum held in Madrid, Brasilia and Cartagena (Colombia). Bircham International University coordinated and prepared the contents of the first Microcredits Manual published in Spanish. In 2016, William Martin participated in the Starmus 2016, an event that reunited 10 nobel laureates in physics and astrophysics as well as some other key personalities."
